HURRICANE SEASON Sept. 15 in Brooklyn

Rachel Stevens and Meredith Drum have curated this evening at Issue Project Room in Brooklyn– a Katrina anniversary event that also looks at the more recent disaster in the Gulf Coast. In addition to my film SOUTH OF TEN, the screening includes works by at least two superimpressive community activist filmmakers from the Gulf– Courtney Egan and the late Helen Hill– as well as oil-related historical work by Tony Oersler and Robert Flaherty.
